We’re searching for an experienced Store Manager to lead the full operations of a high-performing retail store. This is a hands-on management role suited to someone who approaches the business as their own, driving performance, profitability, and exceptional customer experience.
As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for every aspect of store performance: sales, staffing, inventory, financial management, and compliance.
You’ll play a key leadership role in developing your team, optimising operations, and ensuring the store consistently exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all store departments and ensure smooth, efficient daily operations.
Drive sales and implement marketing strategies to meet growth targets.
Lead, train, and mentor staff to achieve peak performance and service standards.
Manage inventory levels, supplier relations, and stock control.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and expense reports.
Monitor store profitability, market trends, and competitor activity.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Excellent understanding of retail operations, customer service, and sales management.
Analytical and financially astute, with strong problem-solving skills.
Highly organised, adaptable, and proactive in a fast-paced retail environment.
Proficient in MS Office; experience with Arch or SAP advantageous.
Requirements:
5–10 years’ experience in supermarket or retail management (minimum 3 years in a senior capacity).
3 year tertiary qualification in Retail Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Finance or Accounting qualification advantageous.
Proven track record of driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Valid driver’s license and clean criminal record.
